Today is a day off, and you know what that means: It's LAUNDRY DAY!
Karen cleans the apartment. This place is smaller than half the size of our trailer and the floors are wood, not carpet, so vacuuming takes no time at all.
Pat puts the laundry in a backpack and walks a block down the street to one of the only laundromats in Stockholm. It's $12 per load to wash and dry and the owner provides the detergent.
Chores done, Karen finishes yesterday's journal and checks the weather for the week. Pat's watching the Stockholm Marathon on TV. It goes really close to us and he runs out a couple of times to film the front runners, since they run the 13 mile course twice.
Marathon is over, let's see what's in TV. The only thing in English is old NCIS with Mark Harmon. Binge watching NCIS in Sweden. What else are you going to do on your day off? We got tired of that, so we hooked up the computer to the TV and watched a dozen episodes of "Less Junk, More Journey", an RVing couple we've been following.
Well, at least we are rested for the rest of this week in Stockholm. There will be boat rides, a few more museums to explore, and some touring of City Hall and another Royal Palace.
